Rainbow Honey Raspberry Obsession

Hey there! Hope you had a great Thanksgiving Holiday... mine was full of Turkey, shopping, and a lot of family fun. Yours too? Excellent! Today, I've got the second polish in the Limited Edition Berry Obsession Trio from Rainbow Honey. Behold! Raspberry Obsession... Polishes Used: 1 Coat Fingerpaints Smooth Over Ridge Filler 3 Coats Rainbow Honey Raspberry Obsession 1 Coat SinfulColors Clear Coat 1 Coat Seche Vite You know, it's kind of funny. When I think of Raspberry, I don't think of the red shade of Raspberry Obsession. I almost always equate it with a more purple leaning pink. But this is definitely waaaay closer to the actual color of raspberries. Well, maybe minus the sparkles... Rainbow Honey calls this shade a "raspberry cream gleaming with magenta shimmer," which is true, but I also see a little bit of gold in there. I wasn't a hundred percent sold on it when I put it on, but the longer I wore it, the more it grew on me! It r

Fishbowl Friday 055 // Sapphire

Greetings! Salutations! And most importantly, Happy Friiiiiiiiday!!! What a week it has been... phew! I know I say that just about every Friday, but everyday this week was just crazy. Aaaand this weekend is Potty Training Boot Camp, because when things get busy, we just add in a whole lot more on top of it. Right? Right. On to the nails! This week, I drew the SAPPHIRE prompt. Luckily, my Rainbow Honey Berry Obsession Trio arrived in the mail this week, and Blueberry Obsession? Definitely channeling some SAPPHIRE sparkles! Polishes Used: 1 Coat Fingerpaints Smooth Over Ridge Filler 3 Coats Rainbow Honey Blueberry Obsession 1 Coat Rainbow Honey Baked Raspberry Glaze 1 Coat SinfulColors Clear Coat 1 Coat Seche Vite It was less than two weeks ago that I received the email about Rainbow Honey's Thanksgiving Mystery Bag and their Limited Edition Berry Obsession Trio. I ordered both that night, and was stoked when my packaged arrived on Monday! Soooo many new

Rainbow Honey Bloody Weapon

If you follow me on Instagram, you might recognize this gorgeous purple shade. It was one of the polishes in my November Mystery Bag from Rainbow Honey. Bloody Weapon...  Polishes Used:  1 Coat Fingerpaints Smooth Over Ridge Filler 3 Coats Rainbow Honey Bloody Weapon 1 Coat SinfulColors Clear Coat 1 Coat Seche Vite I'm not sure what it is this year, but I'm all about deep, dark, vampy shades of red and purple nail polish. I don't know if I'm just super excited for Thanksgiving and Christmas or what?!? But something about shades like these, they're calling my name.  Now, that's not to say that the sparkles and such aren't trying to sway me.  Rainbow Honey Mini Mystery Bag November 2015 Also in this month's Mystery Bag, I received Interstellar Ice, a glitter topper that's a mix of holographic small silver glitter and blue glitter. It's insanely sparkly and gorgeous, and I could've put it over Bloody W

Fishbowl Friday 054 // Neutral

Finally, the end of the week has arrived! They don't call it Fri-YAY for nothing, now do they?!? If you've had a particularly crazy week... you are definitely not alone. When I pulled the NEUTRAL prompt last night, I was kind of excited for something a little more calm and soothing. Opposite of crazy. Polishes Used: 1 Coat Fingerpaints Smooth Over Ridge Filler 4 Coats KBShimmer Owl Miss You 2 Coats SinfulColors Clear Coat 1 Coat Seche Vite So, before I started gushing about the gorgeousness that is Owl Miss You from KBShimmer... I feel like I've got to say something about their ordering, shipping, and turn around time. It. Is. AWESOME. Especially when you place your order on a Monday, which is exactly what I did. My order arrived yesterday around noonish. Owl Miss You is part of KBShimmer's Winter 2015 Collection. It might be the only polish from the collection I ordered, but that doesn't mean others aren't on my wishlist! I'm rea

Layering: Wicked Autumn Binx

Okay, I'm calling it right now. Someone needs to come and take my bottle of Autumn People away from me ASAP. I can. not. stop. layering it with all the polish I own! Polishes Used: 1 Coat Fingerpaints Smooth Over Ridge Filler 3 Coats Hard Candy Wicked 1 Coat Zoya Binx 1 Coat Pahlish Autumn People 2 Coats SinfulColors Clear Coat 1 Coat Seche Vite Well, if I liked it over the ah-mazing green jelly that is Stopped Watch, I'm drooooooling over this. I can't even describe how many just awesome things are going on in this layering. And I apologize that my photos don't quite do this justice. I'm wondering if it's my camera? Also... I might have gone a little bit overboard with the caffeine while nanowrimoing, so... sorrynotsorry. Oh! To Caffeine... Bringing it back, I promise. So. Wicked is actually a polish from Hard Candy's line prior to the current cylindrical bottles. You know, the square bottles with white caps? I honestly do

Fishbowl Friday 053 // Zoya

We've made it to another Friday! YAY!!! I know that's how I feel when the week is finally over. So, last night, I drew one of the brand prompts in my bowl... ZOYA . I knew almost immediately what I was going to do, and that doesn't always happen... Polishes Used: 1 Coat Fingerpaints Smooth Over Ridge Filler 3 Coats Zoya Quinn 1 Coat Zoya Binx 1 Coat SinfulColors Clear Coat 1 Coat Seche Vite I don't have a ton of Zoya polishes in my collection. It's a brand that I have to buy online, considering the closest Ulta is almost an hour away, in the city we used to live in. And it's rare that I head up that way to do shopping these days. So, I usually end up buying Zoya when they have big promotions. I almost always go for the buy 3 pay only shipping. Quinn and Binx were part of an order I made in February with a code for 50% off my order. Quinn was ordered for obvious reasons, but I wasn't so sure about Binx. I waffled a little b

Layering: Space Dreaming

We're not even going to talk about how long Orly Space Cadet has been in my collection. It's been a while, and I'm only getting around to wearing it now. I'm really not sure how that happened! Probably a result of multiple moves and unorganized Helmers. Thankfully, all that has changed and Space Cadet has finally seen the light of day... Polishes Used: 1 Coat Fingerpaints Smooth Over Ridge Filler 2 Coats Orly Space Cadet 1 Coat Essence Never Stop Dreaming 1 Coat SinfulColors Clear Coat 1 Coat Seche Vite Space Cadet is a deep violet leaning maroon red with a matching maroon shimmer that shift gold. It's a gorgeous shade that is in a lot of nail polish collections. It was part of the Cosmix FX Collection Orly released in Fall 2010. The other part of this layering, Never Stop Dreaming, is an Essence polish I purchases this Summer from Ulta. I remember that the display was almost full that day. Most of the time, it's nearly empty or filled wi

Layering: Prosecco People

If I was in love with Autumn People layered over Stoppped Watch , I don't know what to call what I am right now. Smitten? Enamored? Infatuated? It's just so pretty ... Polishes Used:  1 Coat Fingerpaints Smooth Over Ridge Filler 4 Coats SinfulShine Prosecco (Original Formula)  2 Coats Pahlish Autumn People 2 Coats SinfulColors Clear Coat 1 Coat Seche Vite I know, I know, I was really trying to think of something to layer this over other than taupe. But then I remembered how pretty and shimmery Prosecco was, and it just sort of happened. And it's a glittery kind of wonderful, isn't it?!? First of all, it's been a little while since I used one of my SinfulShine polishes on its own, and it made me a little sad that the line was reformulated. Now, SinfulShine polishes are actual gel polishes that require a special top coat in order to seal everything together. I like to change my polish way too much for that, but the reformulatio
