China Glaze Budding Romance
This is one of those love it or hate it colors... and I love.Love.LOVE it! <3
Polishes Used:
1 Coat Beauty Secrets Ridge Filler
3 Coats China Glaze Budding Romance
1 Coat Borghese Clear
1 Coat Seche Vite
Budding Romance is officially my new favorite green polish. I mean... just look at it! I have a soft spot in my heart for this yellowish pea-green color that some people call olive, while others equate it to what you might find in a soiled diaper.
Po-tay-to, Po-tah-to...
This green is really vibrant. It makes me think of fresh cut grass and squishy moss. The jelly finish gives it a glowiness... Like when you hold a leaf up to the sky, and the rays of the sun illuminate it. That's the feeling this polish gives me. It's different... fresh... invigorating, even.
I have a thin flyaway sweater in this EXACT color. I tried it on because I felt bad for it. (Seriously!) Every now and then while I'm shopping, I pick up something completely different and out of my norm, try it on, and end up LOVING it. I highly recommend it! I mean, I can't tell you how many times I've picked out something that looks great on the hanger, but when I try it on... it looks awful! Something that doesn't look so hot on the hanger just might end up being your new fave! Kinda makes sense, doesn't it? Try it sometime. I dare you!
