If ever there was a need for a simple prompt, last night was it. Ohhhh, was it ever! 2 COLORS... that was the prompt this time around. I've been coughing at night lately, and Peanut has been having some weird sleep issues, so YAY for something tres simple on a night when I really needed it!

I've been eyeballing School House Rock for a layering since I bought it, and Woland arrived on Wednesday in my December mystery bag from Rainbow Honey. It was tough choosing between Woland and The Master, but in the end... I had to choose Woland. So much sparkle, and only one coat!

School House Rock is a purple leaning gray that's pretty unique in my stash. It's borderline lilacish, and Woland really pushes it over the edge to purple. And speaking of Woland, can I just talk about this glitter topper? Silver glitter, irridescent blue glitter, (my personal fave) silver square holo glitter, and a couple different sizes of matte black glitter in hexes and squares?!? I'm also pretty sure there's an irridescent purple in there too, and the base is a pretty tinted lavender color. I'm totally swooning over here!

Both formulas were really great to work with. I'm impressed with the Hard Candy creme polishes, and Rainbow Honey really knocked this one out of the park. Also, December's mystery bag featured mini polishes in 7.5 mL sizes rather than the usual 5 mL size... not sure if that was just for the Holidays, or if it will be a permanent thing, but I'm sooooo glad! And now I'm left thinking that Woland would look insanely sparkly and fabulous over Grayscale. I might have to try that one for a New Year's Eve. Really, is there anything to wear other than a total glitterbomb when ringing in the New Year?!?

For now... I'm sooooo happy that it's Friday! and I'm crossing my fingers (and toes!) that Peanut sleeps a whooooooole lot better tonight. Happy Weekend!!!
