Orly Fowl Play
I have had this polish for a long time, but for whatever reason, I never swatched it. I bought this when it came out in Fall 2011. If I'm not mistaken, it was the first flaky polish in my collection!
Fowl Play was part of Orly's Birds of a Feather collection. While it might seem like a pretty unique color, it is actually a dupe for OPI Merry Midnight. I don't own Merry Midnight, but I have seen swatches of the two next to each other and they look identical. I used 4 coats for the pics above.
Polishes Used:
1 Coat Beauty Secrets Ridge Filler
4 Coats Orly Fowl Play
1 Coat Seche Vite
This is one of my favorite polishes. That's mainly because it looks like a complicated layering! It's a grape colored purple with a slight jelly finish, red-orange flakies, and a sprinkling of blue and purple micro-glitter. Polishes like these are great to have in your collection, because sometimes you want a more complex look without all the work.
Do you have Fowl Play or Merry Midnight in your collection?
