Layering: Provocative Pixie

Miss Pixie is part of the L'Oreal Miss Candy collection. Other than pulling this polish out for these swatches and this comparison, it's been sitting quietly in my helmer. I was in the mood for a blue jelly glitter sandwich, so here you go!

Polishes Used:

1 Coat Beauty Secrets Ridge Filler
3 Coats L'Oreal Miss Pixie
1 Coat L.A. Girl Provocative
1 Coat Pure Ice Oh, Baby!
1 Coat L.A. Girl Provocative
2 Coats L'Oreal Miss Pixie
1 Coat OPI Top Coat
1 Coat Essie Good to Go

In all honestly, I liked this manicure way better last night than I do today. I'm not sure if it's the rain that's been falling all day, or just the lack of glow to this polish. I'm just not loving it.

I layered Miss Pixie over Provocative, thinking that it would change the color of the glitter, and it did change the fuchsia to a little more purplish fuchsia. The effect just wasn't as intense as I was going for. Oh, Baby added a little depth and definitely some interest to the manicure. This is just one of those layerings that worked better in my head than it does on my nails. (Don't you just hate it when that happens?)
