Layering: L'Oreal Mango Mamma

WOW, am I conflicted. On one hand... I LOVE how this layering turned out. I love the pictures I took. I love that the glitter inside of this jelly sandwich turned the colors I thought it would. Now if only I liked orange... (This one's for all you orange lovers out there!)

I really do like this layering... and that's saying a lot, considering my disdain for all things orange near my olive-toned skin. Seriously though, I had a vision in mind when I started this layering, and I'm really happy with how it turned out. Jelly polishes can be fickle... sometimes they layer how you want them to, and other times they do strange things to the glitters they're layered with. In this case, Mango Mamma from L'Oreal played nicely with the glitter polishes I picked!

Polishes Used:

1 Coat Beauty Secrets Ridge Filler
3 Coats L'Oreal Mango Mamma
1 Coat Revlon Sparkling
1 Coat SOPI Flurry Up!
2 Coats L.A. Girl Provocative
2 Coats L'Oreal Mango Mamma
1 Coat OPI Top Coat
1 Coat Seche Vite

12 Coats of polish might seem like a lot, but it's really not. Trust me! The end result is totally worth each and every coat!

My thought with this layering was to include glitter inside the sandwich that would register as different shades of orange. Sparkling by Revlon is a light pink glitter, while Provocative from L.A. Girl is a fuchsia glitter. SOPI Flurry Up! is your standard silver glitter polish. With Mango Mamma layered on top, the glitters morphed into Orange-Gold, Tangerine, and Red-Orange. Incredibly pretty and soooo much depth to this layering! I really wish I liked orange more, because I might be tempted to keep this on longer than just a day... :)

How would you layer Mango Mamma?
