#31DC2015 028 // Inspired by a Flag

Happy Monday! It's been a while, hasn't it?!? Last week sort of blew up in my face in more than one way, and I just needed to grab a breath before coming back at it. Life is like that sometimes, you know? I'm still catching up with the 31 Day Challenge. I only have one more manicure left to paint, but I have four more left to post, so let's get to my FLAG inspired nails, shall we?

1 Coat Seche Vite

Wow... You know, that was only 3 days without blogging and I was going through severe withdrawal. Just had to put that out there. I would also like to apologize for completely missing Fishbowl Friday last week. (Don't worry, it's coming!) Last week was just the worst. Cold and rainy weather, PMDD, grumpiness, craziness... Can I blame all of that on the Full Blood Moon? 'Cause it would be nice knowing that it won't happen again for another 30ish years...

This prompt is always a little bit vexing for me. It was either this or an attempt at bunting on my nails. I did seriously consider the bunting for a little while, but ultimately, the French flag won! Except, when I think of France, I don't really equate it with the colors red, white, and blue. What do I envision when I think of France? Romance, wine, fashion, vitality, glitter... honestly, this color combination popped into my mind pretty quickly!

I'll admit, originally I did have a plan stamp an Eiffel Tower and other French goodies on my nails. But then I searched through all my stamping plates and... no Eiffel Tower, or anything that really screamed France. I tried to regroup, but these colors were already etched into my brain. I added in Zoya Tomoko for a little bit of texture and glitz and that was that. Tres chic, n'est pas? I think so!
