31 Day Challenge 2014: *25*
Sadly, my Uglies nails are gone. Boooooo. That's the one bad thing about this challenge. Sometimes, you actually want to wear your creations for a little bit longer, but I've done that soooo many times, I'm 5 days behind. So, without further ado or lament, here are my nails inspired by FASHION...
Polishes Used:
1 Coat Beauty Secrets Ridge Filler
3 Coats Sally Hansen White On
SinfulColors Black on Black
1 Coat SinfulColors Clear Coat
1 Coat Seche Vite
My fashion nails were inspired by all the clean lines and simple black and white manicures featured at NYFW 2014. Only, I kinda failed in my attempt to recreate the look properly. In a couple of ways... O.o
I should've used smaller dots. I should've waited longer before applying top coat. I should've had more patience. But I didn't, and this is what I ended up with. Clean white nails and streaky black dots. I let the dots set for a good 10 minutes before I put on clear coat, so, I'm not exactly sure what happened there.
This manicure definitely didn't turn out as I had planned, but I don't hate it. Not... completely. But, kind of a little, if I have to be honest. Strongly dislike, perhaps? The streaks really bug me. :(
Ironically, the one good thing about this challenge, is that if you don't like the mani you've worn that day, you're actually encouraged to change them! So fear not, this dotted streaky mess will become nails inspired by A PATTERN............................................................Tomorrow.
