20 Facts About Me

Welcome to Day 2 of Blog Every Day in May! Today was such a busy day! Book sale at the Library, painting the trim in Peanut's room at Le Nouveau Chez Sparkle, herb and flower shopping, exercising... I. Am. Exhausted.

I'm definitely ready to get some serious zzzzzzzzzzs. So... here are 20 random facts about me.

1. I'm a Pisces.

2. I originally went to college to major in Chemistry.

3. My favorite color is purple, but other than on my nails, I rarely wear it.

4. I'm really gullible. Trusting to a fault, too.

5. My car is named after Harry Potter character Regulus Arcturo Black. Reggie for short.

6. I'd rather be driving a T.A.R.D.I.S.

7. I love midnight book and movie releases. I've been known to take off for a book release or season finale. I'm a total fangirl and proud of it.

8. Daisies are my favorite flower.

9. In high school, the walls of my room were a giant collage. Not sure which was more painful... Taking everything down that I worked so hard to create... Or spackling and sanding every hole the sticky tack left.

10. I had my adenoids taken out in 7th grade. The doctor said they were the biggest he'd ever seen. I never got to see them.

11. I've never had a pet other than goldfish. All 4 were carnies. 1 got buried. 1 went missing. The other 2 got flushed.

12. No lie, I'm seriously drawn to shiny things like a crow. Glitter is my spirit animal... I'm not even kidding.

13. I suffered from night terrors for a really, really long time.

14. Scott Westerfeld is my favorite author.

15. I haven't painted my toenails since Fall of last year. I've got a pedicure scheduled for next Saturday, and I couldn't be more stoked!

16. Peanut and I are currently bouncing between 2 houses like gypsies, and it wasn't bad at first... but the vagabond life is no longer for me. I'm always forgetting something.

17. My daughter is my solar system. She's my best friend. Her kisses are the sweetest and her hugs are magical.

18. It's funny how my life right now is nothing like what I imagined it to be 5, 10, or even 15 years ago. But I really have no regrets, because without all that backstory... I wouldn't be me!

19. I'm contrary. I don't even try to be, I just am. There's a very strong desire inside of me to be unique and different. Sameness bores me.

20. I love, Love, LOVE warm weather. Days that hit 90 or above, and especially nights that are in the 70s. There are so many excellent memories from warm summer nights. There's just something magical about sweet, balmy air and darkness. MMMmmmmmm...
