Layering: A Bold Seriotype
Polishes Used:
1 Coat Beauty Secrets Ridge Filler
2 Coats SinfulColors Cool Gray
China Glaze Glow with the Flow
China Glaze Treble Maker
Orly On the Edge
2 Coats Pure Ice Oh, Baby
2 Coats SinfulColors Clear Coat
1 Coat Seche Vite
Not gonna lie, I bought On the Edge by Orly on a total whim last week. But I am seriously soooo glad I did! Surprisingly, I wasn't chomping at the bit to paint my nails with this. I was hyper-focused on Glow with the Flow, but this shade? It's sooooo gorgeous! I'm definitely going to have to swatch it alone very soon. Aaaand probably top it with Fantasy Fire!
But for right now... my nails are a bold seriotype that combines the insanely pigmented purple of On the Edge with the neon pink of Glow with the Flow and electric aqua in Treble Maker! I used Cool Gray as my base, then painted on the other polishes, blotting with saran wrap as I went. Not sure how many times I hit each nail... I'm thinking at least 10, but that number seems low! Once I was happy with color placement, I went over everything with 2 coats of Pure Ice Oh, Baby to add a little sparkle. After that, two coats of clear, one coat of Seche, and done!
I'm really torn between keeping this on for another day... or taking it off and layering On the Edge with Fantasy Fire. I feel like that combo needs to happen, I'm just not sure it's the best day for it, you know? Especially considering I would have to take it off tomorrow night for Fishbowl Friday... unless I pull my prompt tonight? You know, that might not be such a bad idea!
