1 Coat Seche Vite
This lovely blue-leaning teal jelly polish is part of Rainbow Honey's May Mystery Bag. It is seriously packed with a ton of orange-gold, gold, and green-gold flakies and shimmer. There's a definite undersea I-want-to-be-a-mermaid vibe going on here!
Laguna Grande is a jelly polish, so while application was easy, I definitely needed 4 coats to get full coverage. My first coat was really patchy, but evened out with subsequent coats. Oh, and don't mind my tips... I completely forgot to wrap them and only realized it early this morning. Also, my photos show this as more of a blue polish when in real life, it's more of a teal. Sometimes my camera likes to zap greens out of teals and reds out of purples. This is one of those shades that you could wear any time of year. Really versatile.
I'd be remiss if I didn't show you all of the other goodies that came in this month's bag...
In no particular order... Juicy Orange Pop Nail Lacquer, Laguna Grande Nail Lacquer, Neon Yoshimi Glitter Topper, Pina Coco-Colada Cuticle Balm, Mojito Classico Perfume Roller, and Twisted Ice Tea Cooling Gel.
So far, I've only tried Laguna Grande. I didn't swatch either of the other polishes, or even open up the other goodies to smell the new scents. My nose was seriously clogged by the time I got around to opening this package tonight, so I will hopefully get to it tonight. The cooling gel is really calling my name, because I've got some sort of rash on my neck, and I'm thinking it would really cut down on the heat and itchiness of it! I'm not quite sure if it's from my necklace, body wash, heat, or stress? I'm just trying my best not to touch it at all right now!
But back to Laguna Grande... it's a really gorgeous color, and I love the blend of shimmer and flakies going on in here. Just that mix alone would make an amazing glitter topper. I could see this polish doing really well in a seriotype. It would also look really great on toes! As much as I like it, I'll probably be switching it out tonight because there are a lot of other contenders calling my name! Scary thing is... Juicy Orange Pop is one of them! I know, I know, I loathe the color orange, but this is summery, cheery, and a jelly packed with glitter. Then there's the glitter mix in Neon Yoshimi... and then there's the possibility of what might be coming in the mail today. Such choices!
