The Last Item(s) I Purchased

Today was another busy day at soon-to-be Chez Sparkle! After a painting session yesterday, Peanut and I hit up our local Home Depot for some herbs and flowers. So, here's the rundown of the last item(s) I purchased...

2 African Daisies... they remind me of an Albino Black-Eyed Susan. Seriously gorgeous! I could throw a bunch of these in a pot and call it a day.
2 Gerbera Orange Daisies... because there are never enough daisies.
1 Gerbera Yellow Daisy... Peanut got her choice of all the flowers in the store, and she picked this one. Yep. She's mine, alright! Wildflowers any day, every day!
Lavender... for baths, macarons, tea, and mosquitoes hate them. BONUS!
Rosemary... Mr. Sparkle's fave. Note how she gets her own potter!
1 Habanero Pepper... because we like it spicy!
Flat Italian Parsley... decorative greens are a must.
Thai Basil... this stuff is delicious. If you haven't tried it, you really should!
Purple Basil... because PURPLE. Salads need color, too.
Italian Oregano... and I can't pronounce it as anything other than Or-e-gahn-o thanks to Calendar Girls.
German Thyme... we use this one a lot too.
Sweet Mint... for scent and delicious Sun Tea a la Chez Lau.
and a giant bag of Miracle Gro Potting Soil... It's the best.

Sadly, we couldn't find any Cilantro or Dill. So... we'll be searching for those in the coming week. Also, I'd be completely remiss if I didn't mention that the Habanero was NOT planted yet. We're just not in the clear for veggies around here yet. Not until Pere Sparkle says so. He's thee authority on all things green and was such a huge help with planting everything today. Let's just hope my black thumb doesn't ruin it!
